ROUND THE MARK RACE
JUNE 5, 2005
M&M YACHT CLUB - MENOMINEE, MICHIGAN
1. The Racing Rules of Sailing and the sailing instructions will govern the race.
2. Registration will be from 0830 hours to 0900 hours on June 5, 2005, at the MMYC.
2.1 Registration will close at 0900 hours CDT.
2.2 Sailing instructions will be available at the time of registration.
2.3 A valid 2005 LMPHRF certificate must accompany the entry form.
2.4 Boats not having a certificate will be assesses a six second per mile penalty.
3. The entry fee is $20.00 for US Sailing members and $25.00 for non-members.
4. The skippers meeting will be at 0900 hours, June 5, 2005.
5. The first start will be at 1000 hours.
6. The course will be as follows:
Start at the NE corner of break wall, North to South. Leave Menominee Shoal Bouy R2A to Port. Head North (0°)
to Mark 2, leaving it to Port. Proceed to Mark 3 at NE corner of Menominee Marina to Port. Return to Mark 2, leaving
it to Starboard, South (180°) to R2A leaving it to Starboard then to finish at the NE corner of Menominee Marina.
South to North.

3. There will be two divisions, spinnaker and non-spinnaker.
4. The entry fee is $25.00 for all participants.
5. Skippers meeting will be held at 0930 hours on August 13, 2005, at the MMYC.

7. The course will be as follows;
Start at NE corner of break wall north to south, leave the Menominee Shoal Buoy to starboard, West Green Island

2 Registration will be at 1700 hours on August 17, 2005, at the MMYC.
2.1 Sailing instructions will be available at the time of registration.
3. The Crystal Cup Race is a non-spinnaker event.
4. The entry fee is $10.00 for all entrants.
5. Skippers meeting will be held at 1710 hours on August 17, 2005
6. The starting sequence will commence at 1800 hours, August 17, 2005.
7. The course will be as follows; Start at NE corner of break wall north to south, proceed to Menominee Shoal
Buoy leaving it to Starboard, then 0 degrees North to mark 2 taken to Starboard, proceed to the finish line at
the NE corner taking the orange mark on the water to Starboard.
8. Social hour will be held after the event with the annual MMYC Corn Roast.

2. Registration will be from 0830 hours to 0930 hours on August 20, 2005, at the MMYC.
2.1 Sailing instructions will be available at the time of registration.
3. This is a non-spinnaker event.
4. The entry fee is $15.00 for all entrants.
5. Skippers meeting at 0945 hours.
6. Start Sequence at 1100 houes.
7. Special rule: Skipper and one (1) crew only.
8. The course will be as follows: Start between the NE corner of the Menominee breakwall and buoy. North to
South. Go to and around Green Island and it's buoys (either direction) and return. Finish South to North. Distance
13.1 nm.
